Job summary
The Shipping lead is responsible for efficiently controlling productivity through direct supervision of warehouse associates.
Shipping leads are responsible for leading, training and supervising all associates under this position. They are responsible for safe movement and loading of all customers& product into containers and trailers. They are required to check and complete all required paperwork. They are also required to maintain inventories, operate forklifts, and preform quality checks. The Shipping lead will need to communicate any issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Position Responsibilities
All employees have a Responsible Care responsibility to themselves, their families, fellow workers, community, and employer. The line organization is responsible for the RC concerns of its operation. This responsibility covers employees, equipment, materials, and methods. While it is agreed that all Incidents can be prevented by employees working safely, persons in supervisory position are to ensure employees work safely. Supervisors are responsible for carrying out details of the EHS'S(or RCP) process. They are required to provide adequate safeguards against known, or potential, environmental, safety and health hazards through communication, furnishing proper equipment, materials and methods, by training employees, and by achieving employee participation in Responsible Care. It is expected that front line supervision set a good example of safe work practices. While accepting this responsibility in the performance of their duties, they shall be expected to observe EHS'S or RC rules.
A Safe Workplace is reached only when employees remain keenly alert to their Responsible Care responsibilities.
